Tips to stay

on top of your game

1. Keep your lure & CO2 fresh

If you’re trapping with Chirp, you’ll be reminded when to replace your lure and CO2. If you have one of our earlier model A24s, make a note to replace them every six months. We recommend the A24 Rat Replenishment Pack.  We'll send you a reminder email closer to the time.

2. Talk to your neighbours about getting a trap too

More trapping, equals less rats, which means more birds. Simple. Rats have a ‘home range’ of about 50m2, so if there are a couple of traps per hectare we’ll be one-step closer to making Aotearoa predator free.
